1 From Beauvais to Grandvilliers

From May 18 to 20, the Les Routes de l’Oise cycling race celebrates its fortieth edition. 182 runners will cover nearly 295km between Beauvais and Grandvilliers. They will leave Saturday at 3 p.m. from Place Jeanne Hachette to reach Maignelay-Montigny.

On Sunday, the time trial around Feuquières will start at 8:30 a.m., while in the afternoon, the cyclists will set off for 91km around Formerie from 3 p.m.

Finally, on Monday, the start of the last stage will be given at 9:30 a.m., avenue du château in Crèvecœur-le-Grand, with an arrival scheduled before 12 p.m. in Grandvilliers.

2 In Grandvilliers and Saint-Samson-la-Poterie

Saturday May 18, the Sons of Picardia biker group is organizing a solidarity ride in support of the Des Bulles d’amour association for Ewen, a young boy suffering from Hurler’s disease.

The start will be given from the Intermarché de Grandvilliers car park at 10 a.m., before the meal offered to participants in the Saint-Samson-la-Poterie village hall at 12 p.m.

The ready-to-wear boutique O’Supers Nanas is organizing an American weekend at the village hall and its parking lot on rue de Picardie. On the program, tattoo artists, internal market, exhibition of cars, motorcycles and customized bicycles, musicians, pony rides, raffle, food truck and refreshment bar.
