Deckchairs with fabrics printed with large orange or brown flowers, transistor radios, plastic dishes in striking colors, rounded caravans, Volkswagen “combis”, “Canadian” cotton tents… It is a real reconstruction of the holidays of yesterday and from the day before yesterday which will be offered on Saturday May 18 and Sunday May 19, in Saint-Astier, in Dordogne, on the occasion of the 3rd edition of Puces du retro campeur.

The organizing association, Lezamis RétroCampeurs, is keeping a close watch and, as in the two previous editions, for Pentecost in 2020 and 2022, everything that will be exhibited must date from before 1985. More than 80 crews of “retro campers”, these Sweet crazy collectors and fans of vacations in vintage fashion, will arrive from all over France with their treasures. They will arrive on Saturday from 11 a.m. and we will even be able to watch the camp set up until 5 p.m.

On Sunday, we will be able to browse among around sixty stands from professionals and individuals, from small camping accessories to vans, spinning polka dot dresses, heart-shaped glasses, etc.

Notice to fans, period outfits will be welcome for everyone. Lezamis RétroCampeurs expect 4,000 visitors over the weekend.
