Seine-et-Marne: police are looking for a vehicle involved in a serious accident on the N 3

A spectacular collision occurred Friday evening on the national 3, near Trilbardou. It involved three vehicles, one of which preferred to flee. The gendarmes of the Esbly territorial brigade, in charge of the investigation into the circumstances of the accident which left three people injured, two of whom were serious, are currently looking for him*.

It was around 10 p.m. when a car, coming from the D 27, entered the N 3. No doubt surprised by the maneuver, a motorist who was traveling on the national road coming from had to swerve to avoid it. He then hit a third car coming in the opposite direction. While the two vehicles collided head-on, the driver of the car which had entered the N 3 continued on his way.

At the intersection, the shock was violent. The driver who came from Meaux, a 38-year-old man, was seriously injured and had to be airlifted to the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital (Val-de-). To allow emergency services to intervene, the road was temporarily closed to traffic. A priori, his life was not in danger. Same rather reassuring news for his passenger, aged 33, also seriously affected, who had been transported by road to the Henri-Mondor hospital in Créteil (Val-de-Marne). In the vehicle which was traveling towards Meaux there was a 56-year-old man. He escaped with minor injuries, but was still taken to Meaux hospital as a precaution.

To allow emergency services to intervene, the road had to be temporarily closed to traffic. At this location, another serious accident had already occurred in July 2013. The authorities are also well aware of the dangerous nature of this route. At the exit of Meaux, a turret radar was installed in place of the old automatic radar last year. And a construction radar is installed in the small woods located not far from the accident on Friday evening. The Seine-et-Marne prefecture has already announced that a turret radar should soon be installed in this sector, near -sur-Marne.

* If you witnessed the accident or if you have information on the vehicle that fled, please contact the Esbly brigade on 01.60.04.20.43.
