The Bretagne Réunie association is organizing a day of action for the reunification of the Loire-Atlantique to the Brittany, Saturday October 12, 2024.

A parade as well as activities are planned in the presence of Breton personalities Cours Saint-André in Nantes.

Reunification of Brittany: mobilization in Puceul and Ancenis

Saturday October 12, the meeting is given to entrances to the Loire-Atlantique department :

• Stop area puce (Rennes road).
• Rest area at Marzan (Vannes road).
• Leclerc d’Ancenis car park (route de Nantes).
• Carpooling area dances (Clisson road).
• Carpooling area Port-Saint-Père (3 rue des Épinettes).

Carpooling is also planned by registering in a Facebook group.

In Nantes: procession, entertainment and fest-deiz

At noon, the convoy of cars will arrive in a single line, towards Cours Saint-Pierre, behind Nantes Cathedral. Catering will be provided on site with food trucks and bars.

In the afternoon, the parade will take place at 3 p.m.followed by animations anda fest-deiz, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.all punctuated by interventions from Breton public figures.

A citizen consultation

105,000 residents of Loire-Atlantique signed a petition so that a consultation of the population can be organized on the return of the department to the region.

This day, which is organized by several associations and Brittany united, aims to “initiate a legislative process allowing the administrative unity of the Brittany with five departments ».

In a press release, the local committee of the Pays de la Mée de la Bretagne reunited calls on all interested people to participate, demanding democratic respect and the integrity of the Breton territory: “We ask the deputies and senators to legislate in respect for international charters and texts”.
