Rayan Azouagh, this name probably means nothing to you. However, in Morocco, the media only talk about him. At just 17 years old, he became the youngest goalkeeper in the history of Botola (Moroccan championship) by debuting with his club IR Tangier. The beautiful story, as is often the case in this position and at this age, began with a slight injury to the starting goalkeeper Badr Benachour. And for his first as a professional (he played 51 minutes), Rayan Azouagh quickly distinguished himself with several decisive saves. Enough to get people talking and above all enter the very closed circle of Moroccan goalkeepers who started so young in Morocco. Because before him, only Reda Tagnaouti and Yassine Bounou had started before the age of 21.
