Montreal police are asking for the public’s help to find a heartless motorist who hit a child, before fleeing as if nothing had happened, without ever going to help the seriously injured young victim.

The hit-and-run took place on the afternoon of Sunday, April 28, at the intersection of Avenue Dollard and Rue Réjane, in the borough of LaSalle.

Around 3 p.m., the driver of a dark gray Mazda CX-3 vehicle hit the child and quickly left the scene before the police arrived.

The child suffered significant injuries in the collision.
