Call for generosity to create a new service

The Patro de Lévis launched, on May 13, its first 2024 “community bond issuance” campaign. Through this initiative, the Lévis organization wants to realize a cultural Third Place built around a small food offering café style and multidisciplinary programming.

With the campaign, the Patro wants to raise $50,000. The Third Place aims to be “welcoming, lively and open to the outside world thanks to a varied program of shows, conferences, various workshops and social laboratories”. Specialty coffee will be offered, in addition to a “simple, healthy and adapted” food offering to customer needs, the Patro also specified.

Through this new service, the organization wants to allow the Lévis community to attend the Patro other than through leisure activities requiring registration and to experience the Patro differently.

“We are very enthusiastic about launching this campaign on community obligations,” rejoiced Jean-François Longchamps, general director of Patro de Lévis. This initiative offers a valuable opportunity to strengthen collective commitment and significantly support a local project that will benefit our community.”

The campaign is ongoing until June 21 inclusive. An information session is planned for Thursday, May 23, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the Patro de Lévis, located at 6150, rue Saint-Georges. To participate in this activity, free registration is required at 418 833-4477 or at [email protected].
