The torchbearers

182 public officials selected by the State will participate in the Torch Relay

The Government hoped that, in all the territories crossed by the Olympic and Paralympic flame, civil servants would be among the Torch Bearers. Among the 11,000 torchbearers selected to carry the Flame, 182 are public officials chosen by the State, in recognition of their remarkable professional career, their commitment to public service, their extraordinary life journey and their connection with sport.

The 182 State torchbearers will promote the values ​​of public service throughout the Flame’s journey and will embody the exceptional mobilization of State agents to make the Paris 2024 Games a success.
