In a press release dated May 13, the General Directorate of Armaments (DGA) announced that it had “ordered the development of new generation tank trucks (CCNG) from the Arquus company”.

120 million euros

More than 120 million euros have been negotiated, for nearly 400 vehicles planned by 2029, produced within the framework of “the 2024-2030 military programming law”.

Nearly 70 first vehicles are about to be manufactured by Arquus, European leader in armored vehicles, “mainly on the Renault Trucks sites in Bourg-en-Bresse, in Ain, and in Blainville-sur-Orne, in Calvados”specifies the DGA.

In recent years, other types of specialized vehicles have been produced at the Calvados factory: fire trucks had been delivered to fire fighters.
