Paris launches “Ralbol”, a guide for all students in the capital

Student life has its share of positive experiences, but also many inconveniences. In the capital, these aspects are sometimes difficult to manage. Pay the rent, potentially find a job alongside your classes, or even combine low-cost outings and fun all the same… To try to overcome the difficulties presented by Parisian student life, the City of , via the Maison student, launched in September Ralbol, the student guide to Paris.

In this little book, the municipality strives to provide “all the tips for making your studies as successful as possible and beyond”. Six chapters cover all aspects of student life in a city like Paris: “Paris City Campus”, “Housing and Finance”, “Academic and Professional”, “Taking care of yourself”, “Social life”, and “Administrative declaration “.

“Avoid missing out on the good deal”

“For a long time, the Student House has been trying to fight against the non-recourse to rights and thus avoid missing out on the good plan or the public service which could have changed the situation,” explain the authors. The Génépi publishing team, Rim Yehya, the director of the Student House, and her team all participated in the writing of the book.

The publication of this work takes place in a particularly complicated context for young people today. For the second year in a row, Dailymotion, for example, carried out a barometer of the online mental health of users and content creators. It turns out that 32% of 18-24 year olds using social media say they don’t feel well. An observation also generated by the Covid period and successive confinements.
