Feathered Dog Festival: reserve your tickets!

For its 26th edition, the Chien à Plumes festival offers a program that will make many people dance and sing! Zoom in on what awaits you from August 2 to 4.

This year, the Feathered Dog festival is being held from August 2 to 4 in Villegusien-le-lac. This unmissable event in Haute-Marne has existed for more than 25 years. The organizers have fun saying that it is the “smallest of the big festivals”. It brings together between fifteen and twenty thousand people over the three days and a campsite is offered to festival-goers, free of charge (to be reserved with the tickets). To enjoy it, simply come with a tent or it is possible to rent a teepee on site. “People like to go green with camping “, explains an organizer.

A colorful program

For this 26e edition, the Chien à Plumes offers a program to thrill the whole family! As usual, the organizers have focused on musical diversity. Hip-hop, rock, electro, jazz, soul, groove and much more will be there.

On Friday August 2, the legendary group Shaka Ponk returns for a fourth time to Le Chien à Plumes. It will also be possible to see Romane Santarelli, Luiku and Baby Volcano on stage that same day. On Saturday, August 3, festival-goers will be able to dance to the rhythm of music from the group Deluxe as well as Bon Entendeur! In addition, the Green Negresses and Celkilt will be present. Finally, to close this beautiful festive weekend, Worakls Orchestra, Groundation, Mpl and Hilight tribe will be on the bill.

An intergenerational festival

The idea of the festival organizers is to ” share an eclectic, festive and daring program in order to bring together music in its current great diversitys “, and this, all generations combined. “This festival is a springboard for people to discover music that they would not necessarily have listened to”. The organizing team is keen to preserve the side “human size” of the festival, so that participants come with family or friends and stay “comfortable”.

Unique and colorful stands will be set up, like a salon for artistic and offbeat hairstyles. Theatrical entertainment, games and food stands, even with gluten-free pancakes, will also be offered to festival-goers.

A festival full of history

Le Chien à Plumes is above all an association with 450 volunteers who have been working for 29 years in the Pays de Langres, a green territory with its lakes and its National Forest Park. The association is very involved in environmental protection. Every year, they make a point of defending the places they occupy, in this case the Vingeanne lake. It is not for nothing that it is renowned for being a “green” festival.
