The Trévarez estate, in Saint-Goazec in Finistère, is one of the two Breton sites in the 2024 selection of the competition France 3 The favorite monument of the French. Guingamp prison in Côtes d’Armor is the second.

Who will represent Brittany and be one of the 14 finalists? Internet users are invited to vote for their favorite monument on the France Télévisions website until May 24 midnight.

The results of the competition will be announced at the start of the school year during a program presented by Stéphane Bern.

Very nice assets

Property of the Department of Finistère since 1968, the Trévarez estate welcomes on average 160,000 visitors per year. The site has many advantages to highlight:

  • a red brick castle with atypical architecture dating from the end of the 19th centurye and very modern for its time,
  • an exciting story,
  • an 85-hectare park with prestigious plant collections (camellias, hydrangeas, rhododendrons),
  • an entertainment program that knows how to bring people together.

The estate benefits from three labels: Heritage of the XXe century, remarkable garden and garden of excellence.
