Friday October 4, and following a vote by the inhabitants of Moussy-le-Vieux (Seine-et-Marne), Sunday September 29, the installation of the new municipal council and the appointment of deputies and the mayor were taking place.

It was in fact necessary to completely reconstitute a municipal council following the death of the mayor, Armand Jacquemin, last July.

Damien Lannette- Claverie elected

A single list was therefore formed to establish the new municipal council, which will only work for a year and a half. Indeed, new elections, on a national scale this time, are already scheduled for spring 2026.

And this Friday, the new municipal council elected Damien Lannette-Claverie as the new mayor of the commune unanimously being the only one to present himself. Former deputy, the new 51-year-old councilor knows the town well for living there since the end of the 90s.

However, head of the list, Philippe Govignon did not appear. Elected for 23 years, he took over from Armand Jacquemin upon his death. In this new council, he keeps his old position as first deputy.
