“Fascinating”, “remarkable”, “unforgettable”… Spectators of the Northern Lights admired in Europe but also from Touraine, on the night of Friday to Saturday May 11, 2024, are doubling down on qualifiers to describe the spectacle.

This solar storm was caused by the arrival on Earth of a series of coronal mass ejections from the Sun. It should continue over the weekend.
