Weather in Quebec: sunshine with a little instability for Mother’s Day

Quebecers could celebrate Mother’s Day weekend under the sun, but a little instability will persist in the southwest of the province, with temperatures that will nevertheless remain comfortable.

This Friday, the weather will be generally sunny in most of Quebec, although clouds could still be present in places, particularly in the southwestern sectors of the province.

If we except certain regions of Gaspésie or the North Shore, temperatures will remain comfortable, oscillating between 15 degrees in Quebec and 18 degrees, particularly in Montreal, where the sky will be clear, according to Environment Canada.

On Saturday, Quebecers will be treated to generous sunshine with temperatures of 18 degrees in Quebec and Estrie, while the mercury will reach nearly 20 degrees in the south of the province.

The only downside is that the clouds will probably not leave the sky over southern Quebec, including Montreal, but brief clearings cannot be ruled out in places, according to forecasts from the federal agency.

For Mother’s Day, in certain areas, the cloud cover will bring a little instability which could spoil the party, anticipating a low pressure system which will arrive next week.

For Sunday therefore, the federal agency predicts clearing in Montreal, with 18 degrees on the thermometer, and an alternation of sun and clouds in the center of the province, while the weather will be rather sunny in eastern Quebec.
