More and more buses to go to the beach all summer. This could be the summary of the announcement made by the Great Narbonne (Aude). The community has confirmed its desire to seriously strengthen the bus shuttles which drop off relaxation enthusiasts on all the beaches of Greater Narbonne.


No more buses all summer

” We wish best meet expectations residents of Narbonne and tourists to be able to get to the beaches and the coast more easily on sunny days,” explains the community.

In fact, from the Saturday May 11, 2024the current line 15 serving in particular the train station La Franqui in the direction of Leucate beach, Leucate village And Port-Leucate will be seriously reinforced every day of the week.

It will be the same for the line 8. Connecting the city center of Narbonne to the beaches of Gruissanof Narbonne-Plage and of Saint-Pierre La Merthe frequency of buses will be seriously increased from Saturday May 11.

A falling price

On these two lines, every day, the buses will make a ten round trips per day. All of these modifications are online on the Citibus company website.

Keen to encourage Audois and tourists alike to favor public transport at the expense of their personal vehicles, the community confirms that the price of a single bus ticket remains set at 1.20 euros.

Purchasing a notebook 10 ticketsallows you to enjoy a simple trip to 0.90 euros.
