Located in the commune of Moitiers-en-Bauptois (Manche), the Basroger garden is preparing to open its doors to the public for the benefit of Neurodon, a campaign to support brain research and the neurological diseases.

The Basroger garden, with a surface area of ​​2,700 m2is classified bylocal association Cotentin Garden side. It houses more than 650 plants and shrubs.

A farmyard

Organic gardening, without chemical inputs with grinding of plants for covering flowerbeds and composting to enrich the soil; a lean-to greenhouse for overwintering delicate plants and a tunnel greenhouse for growing early tomatoes and potatoes. Here no permaculturebut traditional organic gardening with self-sufficiency regarding the vegetable production.

To this table, we must add a collection of succulents and succulents, including a number of aeoniums, xerophite plants and a collection of Adenium obesums (desert roses). To complete the picture, a barnyard with chickens and rabbits (and a green roof above them to protect them from the cold and the heat).
