Finally ! It’s about time, the inhabitants of Côtes-d’Armor and holidaymakers passing through the Ascension Bridge will be able to take out their dresses, shorts, sandals and other sunglasses over the coming days.

From this Wednesday May 8 to Saturday May 11, 2024, thanks to the return of the anticyclone, Météo France announces spring temperatures and even high temperatures for the season.

Up to 25°C

The mornings will sometimes be a little overcast, with the formation of fog banks at daybreak in the north of the department, but the sun should definitely shine in the sky and bring its zone of vitamin D.

In detail, Thursday May 9 and Friday May 10, temperatures ranging from 11 to 13°C are forecast in the morning and 17 to 23°C in the afternoon. The day of Saturday May 11 should be the hottest with 25°C, forecast in places, particularly inland.

The Ice Saints

The Ice Saints (Mamert, Pancrace and Servais) are celebrated respectively each year on May 11, 12 and 13… If, for gardeners, in popular beliefs and in sayings like “Before Saint Servais, no summer, after Saint Servais, no more frost”, they are synonymous with the return of cold and in particular frost… This year, it should rather rhyme with sweetness.
