The Montmartre Harvest Festival 2024 in : the program of festivities

The unmissable Montmartre Harvest Festival returns to the heights of the hillock this week, from Wednesday October 9 to Sunday October 13, 2024, with a program that is as enticing as ever between the taste trail, the grand parade, the Decibels Vendanges concerts, the closing ball or even visits to the famous vineyards. Here is the program!

This fall, the 18th arrondissement of lives again to the rhythm of Montmartre Harvest Festival. The 91st edition of this event awaits you this week, from Wednesday October 9 to Sunday October 13, 2024, with a new program rich in diverse and varied activities.

This year, the Harvest Festival makes us dream by opening up to the theme of the imagination! “Aspire for a better world, transform, give yourself the strength to invent, access the marvelous, the fantastic, create images, sounds, ideas and thus give place to inventive, dreamlike, funny artistic forms where, street performance, films, street art, unusual concerts, poetry or song…” detail the organizers on the website.

Since 1934, in October, we celebrate Clos Montmartre wine for five joyous days of popular festival where the taste and the gastronomy are in the spotlight! Third busiest Parisian event after the White Night et Paris Beaches500,000 visitors are once again expected in the streets of La Butte. Exhibitions, live shows, music, parades, balls, tastings of artisanal and local products and various activities are usually there to delight young and old, tourists and Parisians.

So, who has the honor of sponsoring this new edition? Sophie Mounicot et Jerome Bonaldi were chosen as godmother and godfather of this 2024 edition. They succeed in particular Camélia Jordana, Sandrine Bonnaire, Nolwenn Leroy, Anaïs, Olivia Ruiz, Firmine Richard, Victoria Abril, Naomi Campbell, Carole Bouquet, Angunn, as well as Mistinguett, who was the first godmother of the Vendanges in 1934.

Launch party

Come attend the launch evening of the Montmartre Harvest Festival, 2024 edition. Join Marco Avallone as master of ceremonies for the occasion, accompanied by his faithful choir “Envie de chant”. After the participatory choir, it’s time for the enchanted ball of dancer and choreographer Serge Tsakap.

Decibels Harvest

From October 9 to 12, 2024 – Hasard Ludique, Be-Jazzy and ADN Montmartre
Free, subject to availability

For four days, come and discover new talents during several concerts accessible free of charge and offered in three venues in the 18th arrondissement, Hasard Ludique, Be-Jazzy and ADN Montmartre.

Visit to the vineyards

A true symbol of the capital’s rich wine-growing past, the vineyards of Montmartre welcome you this fall for the new Montmartre Harvest Festival. Each visit will be punctuated by anecdotes relayed by the historian and lecturer specializing in the history of the vine, Jean-Manuel Gabert.

The big children’s choir

October 10, 2024 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. – Square Louise Michel (Place Saint Pierre)

This year, children from schools in the 18th arrondissement sing the imagination, the dream and the magical in a choir led by music teachers from the city of Paris. To be discovered in the Louise Michel square, children will notably highlight “The symphony of lightning” de Zaho de Sagazan, “Imagine” by John Lennon, “The Opera” by Yves Duteil or even “Fallen from the sky” by Jacques Higelin and “The bat” the Thomas Verses.

The night harvest race

October 10, 2024 at 8 p.m. – Square Louise Michel (Place Saint Pierre)

It’s the return of the Vendanges night race with a fluorescent peloton which plans to cover a 5 km race.

The journey of taste

October 11 and 12 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and October 13 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. – Around the Sacré-Cœur (rues Azaïs, Saint-Eleuthère, Cardinal Guibert, Cardinal Dubois, Parvis du Sacré)

Superb(s) – participatory dance show

In this participatory dance show, the four performers from the Group Berthe Company lead the spectators to rap, electro, but also poetic or sometimes more absurd sounds.

The harvest ban

October 12, 2020 at 10 a.m. – Vignes du Clos Montmartre (rue des Saules)
By invitation for the parade brotherhoods

During the traditional Ban des Vendanges, which inaugurates the launch of the grape harvest, the brotherhoods and folk groups of the Grand Défilé come together to celebrate the Cuvée de l’Imaginaire. The public can attend this event from rue Saint-Vincent and rue des Saules which run alongside the vineyards.

More than fifty brotherhoods from and elsewhere come together during the Grand Défilé of the 91st Harvest Festival! Accompanied by residents and sports and cultural associations of the district, the brotherhoods parade to music in the cobbled streets of the 18th district. This year, the starting point is given to the Vignes du Clos de Montmartre. The parade will continue on rue des Saules, rue de l’Abreuvoir, rue Girardon, avenue Junot, rue Caulaincourt, rue du Mont-Cenis before arriving at the Town Hall of the 18th arrondissement of Paris.

The no-proposal ceremony

October 13, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. – Place des Abbesses

Like every year, the non-proposal ceremony is full of laughs. On the Place des Abbesses, the future unmarried people follow one another in front of the mayor of the 18th arrondissement, Eric Lejoindre, to not put the ring on each other’s fingers!

Dream party – closing ball

The Montmartre Harvest Festival will end in music with DJ Thierry Lecamp during a unique Dream Party not to be missed in Square Louise Michel.
