A Business Market has been set up at 55, avenue de l’Europe. Offering all types of products, this brand should revitalize the sector.

This is good news for the Annones city center. A Marché auxaffaires franchise opened on Wednesday April 24, at 55, avenue de l’Europe, between Fnac and Biocoop. Over 865 m2we find all types of products, ranging from decoration to DIY, including household linen, kitchen, pet store, makeup, creative arts… “The Business Markets sell everything at low prices”, explains Nicolas Bertreux, store manager.

The young entrepreneur did not choose to settle in Annonay by chance. Originally from Orléans, he arrived in the birthplace of the Montgolfière 15 years ago. The latter has become his heart city, and he now wants to revitalize its city center. This location was a real opportunity. “There was no store of this type in Annonay, the closest are in Davézieux. This is not practical for Annoneans who do not have a car. They can hardly return by bus because of all their purchases,” explains Nicolas Bertreux.

The timing was also perfect for him. After completing his master’s degree in Purchasing and Logistics in 2021, he worked at his parents’ Mr. Bricolage, in Davézieux. “I told myself I would stay there for two years maximum and then open my own store. It’s done ! », Enthuses the Annonean.

According to him, this new brand is also an opportunity to create links between residents. “People meet in the store and stay there for half an hour because they chat,” says the entrepreneur.

Good deals that follow the trends

The Annonay Business Market is an independent franchise store, which gives Nicolas Bertreux certain freedoms.

After an opening that he considers successful, he intends, with his team, to continue this momentum.

In the future, he particularly wants to develop the part of the store devoted to decoration. “The objective will be to follow trends,” underlines the manager.

To raise awareness of the brand, he plans to focus on social networks. If the Facebook account is already up and running, an Instagram account should soon see the light of day.


Open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (7 p.m. on Saturday) from Monday to Saturday.
