Preparing athletes for Paris 2024 Olympic Games at his best. Several selections are already in France to prepare for this major event in the careers of the athletes who will participate between July 26 and August 13.

Recently, several athletes arrived in the Department of Charente and more particularly in Cognaçais in order to prepare for the competition.

Four Gambian and Comorian athletes present

The Grand Cognac area has made the Bernard Bécavin stadium available to several Olympic athletes. Several Gambian athletes as well as a Comorian athlete took advantage of these infrastructures as part of their preparation.

  • Ibrahim Camara: 100m
  • Gina Bass: 100 and 200m
  • Aliu Joof: 200m and 4*100m relay
  • Ambdoul-Karim Riffayn: 100 m

The four athletes trained during a session open to the public in the company of the Cognac athletics team and sprinter Mamadou Fall Saar.
