Like every year, the Bégoux liaison committee and the Cascaris association organize their traditional day of entertainment, in partnership with Cahors Juin Jardins and Lot of Saveurs. Its goal is simple: to bring together gourmets and locals for a day highlighting the culinary players in the neighborhood but also its associations. The meeting is set for next Sunday June 2 in the heart of Bégoux. The festivities will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a special visit to the shared garden. Reading stories, strolls and presentation of the latter’s secrets will punctuate the festivities. The party will then continue from 11:30 a.m. with the launch of the Lot of Saveurs-certified meal (registration required). The feast will begin with an aperitif accompanied by music by the Rakatak group. All the guests will then be invited to the table to enjoy a 100% Lotois menu, with the main course of leg of lamb a la ficelle! Prepared by the caterer Cocottes & Faitout, it will be cooked, cut and served on site, before the eyes of the guests. Rocamadour, new potatoes or strawberries in wafers will also delight the taste buds of young and old! This meal, proposed by the CLAB (Bégoux Liaison Committee), is produced with the complicity of local players such as Locav’hors or the restaurant l’Escale. Another specificity of the latter: each guest is invited to come with their cutlery, their plate, their napkin… Labeled for 3 years now, the festival therefore maintains its eco-responsible approach in its variations by limiting unnecessary waste as much as possible. All interested people are invited to register as soon as possible with the Bégoux CLAB on 07 77 84 37 92, before Wednesday May 22 at 12 p.m. Single price per person: €22 For more information: [email protected]
