JePréviens, an anti-burglary app developed in Loire-Atlantique has enjoyed dazzling success

Launched last February, the JePréviens portable app has enjoyed unprecedented success. Its niche: notify all Internet users connected within a 3km radius of their position that burglaries have been reported or are in progress. Town halls, like that of Sermesse in Saône-et-Loire, even offer the application to their residents.

The creator of JePréviens is a resident of Héric in Loire-Atlantique (Brittany) and he even offers anti-burglary and anti-theft training to traders.

After a stint on a TF1 morning show, the application took off in terms of downloads.

JePréviens was created following a wave of burglaries in Héric in July and August 2023 and was developed in 1 month.

Considering the burglaries which now endemically affect all Breton departments, the application is not likely to be obsolete!
