In the heart of the metropolis of Montpellier (Hérault)a major real estate project is taking shape. The Banque Populaire du Sud, Languedoc Roussillon Savings Bank And the Midi Pyrénées Savings Bankthree major players in the regional financial sector, join forces to acquire part of the real estate complex Halle Nova. This initiative, made possible thanks to the expert structuring of Midi 2ireflects a shared vision of the region’s economic and real estate future.

Cambacérès, a booming district

Halle Nova, a major project, houses 27,000 m² of tertiary areas, including 22,000 m² of offices and 5,000 m² of shops and services, in the Cambacérès district. This booming district is part of the development of the new activity center of the Montpellier metropolis, aiming to become a reference center for the digital economy.

A forecast for 2026

This regional Club Deal, structured and managed by Midi 2i, allows Banque Populaire du Sud, Caisse d’Épargne Languedoc Roussillon and Caisse d’Épargne Midi Pyrénées to acquire part of this promising real estate complex. This acquisition includes 5,861 m² offices and training spaces in R+5, 495 m² outdoor spaces and 93 parking spacesfully leased to leading companies under long-term firm leases.

The ZAC Cambacérès, the future economic hub of the Montpellier metropolitan area, benefits from a strategic location, close to the Mogère Park and served by a multimodal exchange hub in particular by the Sud de France TGV station and by 2025 by the tramway and the bustram. This eco-responsible district offers a complete range of equipment and services adapted to the needs of businesses.

Midi 2i’s “real estate vision”

This ambitious project is scheduled for scheduled delivery for 2026.

The actors involved in this project
Real estate developers are Promeo, Ametis Groupe, Hibrid – Foncière, and Casamo. The architects Taillandier Architectes Associés also played a crucial role in the design. Additionally, legal and real estate advice was provided by BL Notaries, Ockham Avocats, Carisan Atlantique, and Arthur Loyd Occitanie Méditerranée. Funding for the project comes from several regional financial institutions, including the Banque Populaire du Sud via Sud Foncière, the Caisse d’Epargne Languedoc Roussillon with Foncière Ardilla and the Caisse d’Epargne Midi Pyrénée via Midi Foncière.
