SENEGAL-SANTE-SOCIAL / Gnith: free obstetric ultrasound support for 100 women – Senegalese press agency

Gnith (Dagana), May 6 (APS) – One hundred women from the commune of Gnith benefited during the last weekend from free obstetric ultrasound care, in the health posts of Gnith and Yamane, noted the ‘APS.

Organized for two days at the initiative of the “Adewa-Walo Jogna” movement, this obstetric ultrasound care is the 152nd activity organized by this association in the area,” according to its president, Ass Babacar Guèye.

He spoke on Sunday on the second day of free consultations organized for women in the commune of Gnith.

He reported that “100 women from different villages” in this commune are “distributed between the health posts of Gnith and Yalmane (…)”.

He promised to look for other partners to better support women in the area in managing their health problems.

Apart from health activities, Mr. Guèye is committed to supporting local young people, through the “Lac Football club” team.

“This initiative is a way of promoting sporting and cultural activities, but also of supporting local youth,” he explained.
