Their fabulous journeys, shared with passion through captivating documentaries, invite you to travel and experience an infinite change of scenery.
The 52nd season aims to be accessible and captivating with six favorites in theaters as well as two special destinations, one of which you will also have the opportunity to watch in theaters.
A little history
The primary mission of the Grands Explorateurs was to allow Quebecers to open up to the world, by discovering the diversity of the peoples and cultures that surround them, while presenting winding and inaccessible places. As well as the history of these countries presented, their geographies and the beauty of their numerous landscapes.
For 52 years now, Les Grands Explorateurs has offered a unique experience, giving these unusual meetings throughout the year to all those passionate about travel and new discoveries, to meet these filmmaker-speakers, who reveal their most great adventures, live on stage.
A new experience has emerged since the pandemic because a virtual option is available for those who prefer to watch films at home. These have been reworked by Les Grands Explorateurs, so that you can experience it as if you were in a performance hall.

Available in 24 theaters in Quebec, the tours continue from September 2024 until May 2025.
