After his time trial victory on Thursday, Florian Jouanny once again climbed onto the podium this Saturday during the road race of the World Cup stage in Ostend (Belgium). A third place which is not to the taste of the Paralympic champion, in full preparation for Paris-2024.

The Isérois is participating this week in his first World Cup of the season. “It wasn’t in great shape. I’ve been carrying around a little bacteria for a few days now, so things aren’t great. I made do with what I had, I still got the podium. A little disappointed with the result but I expected not much better, given the form of the day,” confided the reigning world champion who finished the race more than three minutes from victory.
