A heavy toll at the start of the month: two terrible accidents caused three dead, this Friday, May 3 in the evening, on the roads of Gardincluding a biker, according to the firefighters of the Sdis 30.

The first occurred around 6:50 p.m., on the RD 6113, between Nîmes and Arles, in the town of Furnaces. Two cars collided violently while traveling in the opposite direction.

On the arrival of firefighters from Gard and the adjoining department of Bouches-du-Rhône – thirty women and men – the results showed two people dead, a 35-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman and one injured in serious condition, a 20 year old man. He was hospitalized as an absolute emergency.

There gendarmerie is responsible for the investigation to determine the circumstances of this fatal accident.

A new road tragedy occurred around 10:30 p.m., on the RD 982, in the town of Saint-Hippolyte-de-Caton, near Uzès, where a motorcycle was the only one involved. The 45-year-old motorcyclist lost control of his machine. When the firefighters and a medical team arrived, he was in cardio-respiratory arrest, but he could not be resuscitated despite a long massage. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

THE gendarmes are also responsible for the investigation, this road trip would have had no direct witness.
