Six civilians were killed and nine others injured to varying degrees on Tuesday in Tel Aviv in an automatic weapons attack perpetrated by two shooters, who were “neutralized”, Israeli police said after initially reporting seven injured.
According to surveillance camera images broadcast by Israeli television, the two shooters opened fire while getting off a tram at the Sderot-Yeroushalaïm stop, in the Jaffa district. The two terrorists were neutralized on the spot by inspectors and citizens present who used personal firearms, according to a police spokesperson.
The French embassy in Israel recommends “avoiding” the Jaffa area.
These shots took place just before a missile attack from Iran and towards Israel.
