Sunday April 28, the Rotary Le Mans Bérengère organized the 20e golf tournament on the Sargé-lès-Le Mans site.

From 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the competitors, including three young people, walked the 18-hole course.

Financing a therapeutic bathtub

We have around sixty participants this year, which is very good. We were lucky to have good weather,” explains Thomas Martineau, the young president of Rotary Le Mans Bérengère (for almost a year). This golf tournament is organized to finance a therapeutic bathtub for the Grain de Blé association. We had around fifteen partners who helped and supported us financially, by sponsoring each hole on the course. Thanks also to the golf director who donated the playing fees to the association. .

They are more and more new practitioners

We have 535 members, we welcome more and more new practitioners. We have different formulas and a golf school, newbies can discover the practice for free for 2 hours , explains Vladimir Miraton, Sargé golf director. The site covers 60 hectares, only one hectare out of the 60 is watered with 50% collected rainwater. There are twelve of us working here,” specifies the young and dynamic director.
