An attempt to scare away intruders, and blows raining down. Wednesday May 1, 2024, a 62-year-old man was hit by several individuals in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, according to information fromNews17 confirmed by the prosecution. Four suspects were subsequently arrested.

Knocks on the building door

It was 10:30 a.m. when the victim, living on rue Théophraste-Renaudot, saw a group of young individuals trying to force the door of his building with kicks. The sixty-year-old then begins to scream to scare them away. The equipped ladle then goes off on a tangent, then returns about ten minutes later and begins to hit the victim.

Suspects arrested quickly

The violent beating ends when a crew from the anti-crime squad intervenes. Three suspects are arrested immediately and a fourth a little later. This Thursday, only one person is still in police custody, the prosecution tells us. The victim, injured in the nose, must be examined by the medical-judicial units.
