Muddy Gurdy returns this Friday to the stage of the Coopérative de Mai, in Clermont-Ferrand, to present his album Seven live.

There is a meeting not quite like the others this week at the Coopérative de Mai, in Clermont-Ferrand: the one with Muddy Gurdy, a year after the disappearance of Marc Glomeau. Seven is the title of the new album that Muddy Gurdy is sharing live, now with Fabrice Bony on percussion in particular. And “it’s a great, a very great blues record(s) according to Hervé Deffontis, for the May Cooperative. Full of radiant and touching songs performed from the heart, recorded right there, at the foot of the porch, on the lush grass, in the electric mist. »

“Tia’s music revolves around cultures from here and elsewhere […] Unique in its kind, setting out on an adventure between two regions, Mississippi and Auvergne, the trio of vocals/guitar, hurdy-gurdy and percussion has thus invented its own music, roots and psyche, generous and telluric. »

A new album “of rare perfection, focused on the essentials, free as the air, happy as tomorrows which dance despite the deep pain which runs through it, Seven is not only a great record, successful from start to finish, but also the most beautiful anthem to life, to love, that has been released here in recent years. I know one who should be proud, but proud…”.
