Sodiparc sets up mobility solutions to go to the night market

This Saturday, May 4, 2024, the Night Market returns for its second edition of the year in Saint-Denis. For this unmissable and anticipated monthly event, Sodiparc is improving and simplifying its service offering, and is setting up a new public transport system, best meeting the expectations of users and visitors. Free shuttles, night buses, free parking and a transport service for people with reduced mobility will allow everyone to fully access the event (Illustrative photo: www.imazpress.com)

From 9 p.m., five free shuttles, serving: La Montagne 8ème, Le Brûlé, Saint-François, Montgaillard and La Bretagne, will be put into service. These shuttles, with a capacity of 8 seats, will operate every hour until midnight, with a single pick-up point at the Hôtel de Ville stop in Saint-Denis.

This reinforced system is a continuation of the usual network, ensuring maximum accessibility for all. It constitutes a safe and efficient alternative for traveling during the event, complementing Citalis lines such as lines 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 19, 21, 22, 22A and 23, which operate from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A light pole will be installed at the Hôtel de Ville stop to facilitate boarding, and posters will be placed in different places at the Night Market to inform visitors of this free transport offer.

In addition, to facilitate “immobile” mobility, the mobility hubs (parking lots) managed by Sodiparc, République, Grand Marché, Rieul, will be open free of charge from 6:00 p.m. to midnight, offering a practical parking solution for visitors.

In addition, a large capacity 70-seat bus will be set up on the Saint-Denis Clean Site Public Transport (TCSP) network, connecting the Hôtel de Ville au Chaudron and Moufia Flibustier stops free of charge and at the same times. .
