For almost a month, Mame Moussa Cissé, the coach of the Senegal women’s team, has been touring the various women’s clubs in the country in anticipation of the next women’s CAN in which Senegal must participate. In an interview with Wiwsport, the coach of the “Lionesses” expressed his wish to face the top 4 teams during the next FIFA date window.

During his visit this Wednesday, May 1st to the Municipal stadium of Parcelles Assainies, Mame Moussa Cissé shared with Wiwsport the teams he wishes to meet during the next FIFA date: “The Federation is mainly working on many profiles, but my objective today is to face the top 4 teams, because it is essential to position yourself against these special teams. I would like to have the opportunity to play against South Africa, Zambia and Ghana. At a certain point, it would be necessary to position ourselves in relation to these teams and see our points of improvement, because if you do not play against these teams, you will meet them at the CAN and that could be a problem. »

Before continuing: “The Federation is working on it, but my initial choice is to have these teams, but there will also be profiles to explore because we will have different teams, such as teams from Southern Africa and teams from the North, which we played a lot of last year. We faced Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, and now we see the teams from Central Africa and South Africa, in order to get an idea and position ourselves in Africa , in order to properly prepare for our competition,” he underlined.
