La Téméraire and the Route Verte in the spotlight

Sunday May 5, the organizers of Enjoy Vélos are calling on two essential races in the Vosges: the Téméraire and the Route Verte. For the occasion, their circuits have been designed to be accessible to as many people as possible.

For Arnaud Bonnaventure, president of Vôge VTT for 12 years, it is impossible to choose his favorite place in the Téméraire des Vosges. “Every corner is nice,” he confides. Departing from Hadol, participants will be able to choose from six mountain bike routes of 15, 20, 30, 45, 65 and 85 km. Heir to the Écluses hike, this race is completed by nearly 1,000 participants each year. Since 2016, the Téméraire des Vosges has received the “Randos d’or FCC” label. For the 2024 edition, the Vosges race is being renewed by adding three gravel routes of 90, 120 and 160 km with GPS guidance.

Starting from the Petit Champs-de-Mars, the Route Verte celebrates its 25the edition this year. It includes two timed circuits: the Grande Route Verte of 161 km with 3,000 m of elevation and the Petite Route Verte of 115 km with 1,710 m of elevation. La Décou’verte, the third non-timed circuit, extends over 55 km with a difference in altitude of 610 m. This race, organized by the Véloce Club Spinalien, is appreciated by Belgian and Luxembourg runners who recognize the quality of the course entered in the FFC Gold Label Trophy.

To participate in one of these races, cyclists must register on the Enjoy Vélos website.
