The jury was revealed this morning: Lambert Wilson will be president Of the jury for the third edition of the Film Festival of Tomorrow. The cultural event dedicated to committed films will take place in Vierzon from May 30 to June 2 at the Ciné Lumière de Vierzon.
After Corinne Masiero for the first edition, and Mathilde Seigner for the second, it is Lambert Wilson who will be president of the jury for the third edition of the Film of Tomorrow festival, which will take place in Vierzon from May 30 to June 2. Actor, director and singer, Lambert Wilson will be the first man to take on this role, for this festival of committed films, created by Louis-Julien Petit, Mathieu Petit-Bonnefond, and Camille Carteret.

Lambert Wilson has toured with great directors (Claude Chabrol, Andrzej Zulawski). He is the holder of the Jean-Gabin prize for his role as Abbé Pierre in Winter 54. He is noticed in many period films (Jefferson in Paris, The Caprices of a River) and historical (Cousteau in The Odyssey, De Gaulle (César for best actor in 2021). He does not hesitate to take on unique roles (The Architect’s Belly, The Possessed) and made his singing talents known in We know the song, Not on the mouth. It is popular in Royal Palace, Matrix, Of men and gods, On the trail of Marsupilami, The cow, Alceste on a bicycle or The Boom 2. He was recently in Benedetta, Hands in or and 5 hectares.

Five other personalities will surround Lambert Wilson, to present six prizes (best direction, best film, best performance, best screenplay, best original music, audience prize).

The program will be revealed on May 6. It will offer an official competition of fiction feature films, previews, meetings with personalities, but also an out-of-competition selection of documentaries, new for 2024. The short film making competition dedicated to 18-30 year olds changes format and this year will focus on the theme of consent.
This time the festival will support the National Union of Families of Femicide.
