A free screening of Back to the 2 is offered on Saturday May 11 at 9:30 p.m. as part of the Zones Portuaires film festival.

The Zones Portuaires film festival returns from May 7 to 12 for a new edition in cinemas on the Presqu’île. The invited port city in 2024 is Beirut, with a program of short or feature films and documentaries, which will take spectators to the shores of the Mediterranean. A second part will open this year on “sports” cinema, with Émilie Rougier, skate champion and surfer, as associate programmer. Screenings, events, exhibitions, or even introductions to , in cinemas or at the skatepark, will highlight the discipline and its presence at the heart of the 7th art.

Remember Marty McFly and his incredible flying skateboard. Spectators are invited to sit on the lawn to (re)discover the 2nd film in the Back to the Future saga on Saturday May 11, 2024 at 9:30 p.m. The free screening will round off a whole afternoon of activities concocted with the festival team and Émilie Rougier: graf workshop at 2 p.m. with the “On fait le mur” association, Mix and Ride or how to slide to music at 4 p.m., blind test quiz to test your knowledge of cinema, music and skateboarding at 5:30 p.m., Radical Kittens concert at 8 p.m.

Skateboarding comes to Life on May 8

A first highlight is also organized on Wednesday May 8 at Life around skateboarding. A free initiation from 6 years old will allow children to take their first slides from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. (registration required at [email protected]). At 6 p.m., saxophonist Guillaume Perret will offer a live performance on his board. It’s time to party from 9 p.m., with the team of professionals from the Chapelle-au-Riboul figure skating committee who will give a wild Rookie Roller Dancing in partnership with Bain (free price).
