Shows, events, sales… This green event, now influential in the region, is keen to promote biodiversity, gardening and cultural and artistic practices associated with nature. The activities are free and open to all.
An edition “more ecological than ever”
Grosmenil in all its states, it’s nature. The event program is anchored in the idea of environmental awareness. Diversified, it allows everyone to find what they are looking for, to have fun and learn while acting for nature. A novelty, the creation of the village “ Live nature“, made its appearance this year to reinforce the commitment to nature. It is “a more ecological edition than ever” explains Le Havre Seine Métropole in a press release.
Varied shows
The cultural programming of this festival on the theme of gardening is rich. Theater, magic, music, dance… Several shows for young and old are offered. They all send beautiful messages through magic, the world of DIY and recovery, humor or spectacular performances.
Exhibitions
The exhibitions are also important to the event. Two photography exhibitions and two painting exhibitions will benefit all visitors. Born from local artists, the works presented will highlight the animal world, the region’s landscapes and the flora.
Entertainment for everyone
Two original events are scheduled in the castle park. Adults, children and even people with reduced mobility can play acrobats with tree climbing workshop to grasp the void and have fun. An animation around a mini educational farm will also be held continuously throughout the weekend from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Rabbits, chickens, goats… Visitors will be able to caress and feed the animals and relax with them.
A nature education village
This is something new. Several activities are organized as part of the nature education village, the “ Live nature“ . The public will be able to discover marine plankton, go on a treasure hunt, gather around an awareness game, observe birds, insects and plants, try a sensory trail, watch and draw nature, practice grafting , follow guided tours of the gardens or even do DIY. There is plenty to do.
Smoothie cycling!
Local associations will be on site to sell, but also offer amazing activities. With La Roue Libre, for example, for 1 euro, participants will be able to learn the smoothie bike and make their drink using the strength of their calves.
With the Maison Pour Tous, children will have the opportunity to try their hand at plastic arts and pottery. The CIVAM Apicole des Boucles de la Seine will provide an active demonstration of a hive and its bees. Many other associations will be present with other activities intended for everyone.
