The circulation of TER trains between the Vichy and Saint-Germain-des-Fossés stations was interrupted this Thursday, May 2 in the morning, due to a tree that fell on the electrical installations.
The portion of the TER line between Vichy and Saint-Geramin-des-Fossés is currently closed to traffic due to the fall of a tree on the electrical installations. In a press release, the SNCF indicates “do everything possible to restore traffic as quickly as possible”.
Several TER trains will be impacted by this incident during the morning. Here are the first:
The TER 874108, leaving Issoire at 6:01 a.m. in the direction of Moulins-sur-Allier, was to experience a delay of 45 minutes from Vichy station reached at 7:59 a.m. instead of 7:14 a.m. Serving the stations of Saint-Germain-des-Fossés, Varennes-sur-Allier and Bessay, it is expected at Moulins-sur-Allier at 8:36 a.m. instead of 7:51 a.m.
The TER 874002 will operate on a modified route leading to the cancellation of the 8:14 a.m. stop at Vichy. The train should be delayed by around twenty minutes from Saint-Germain-des-Fossés and for the following stops (Varennes-sur-Allier, Moulins-sur-Allier, Saint-Pierre-le-Moûtier) until in Nevers where the terminus is located.

TER 873353 linking Nevers to Clermont-Ferrand is announced with a delay of around twenty minutes from Moulins-sur-Allier station (8:05 a.m. instead of 7:45 a.m.) and for all the following stops (Bessay, Varennes-sur-Allier, Saint- Germain-des-Fossés, Vichy, Riom – Châtel-Guyon) to Clermont-Ferrand, terminus of the line, where he is expected at 9:09 a.m.
