PERPIGNAN – After The Voice, they unite their voices to support French farmers

One is a cheesemaker in La Llagone, the other is a winemaker in Cosprons and both participated in The voice. Jean Palau and Léon Servant sing together “What’s more beautiful” to pay homage to the agricultural world and raise a cry of warning about the situation of French farmers, listen!

“Mr. President, There are men who cry on the banks of rivers, there are men who die under the weight of their land.” This is the refrain of “What’s more beautiful” the title chosen by two former Catalan candidates on the show The Voice to support the agricultural world. We arranged to meet them at the Halles Vauban in Perpignan to preview their song, listen up!

The duo is made up of Jean Palau who produces cheese at the Rialet farm in La Llagone and Léon Servant, winemaker in Cosprons. The first made The Voice in 2022. He was drafted by Nolwen Leroy before joining Florent Pagny’s team. The second participated this year in TF1’s Télé ratchet where he joined Team Zazie.

Together, they covered this song written by Lilian Renaud, former winner of The Voice. The title was recorded in Perpignan by William Tomas and the clip filmed in Capcir by Guillaume Cely. A beautiful human and friendly adventure for these four Catalans who were all supported by this project
