” Disgusting “. Is this comment left on the Internet by a restaurant customer Banh Thai Sushirue Heurtault in La Courneuve which pushed the prefecture of Seine-Saint-Denis to carry out a sanitary control in the building ? Still, his conclusions were roughly similar to this client’s opinion. Hence a closure announced in a decree taken on April 17, 2024 and made public this Tuesday, April 29.

Sushi and mice

Why this sanction? The list is long…We will notably note an “ineffective pest control plan”. The inspectors noted the significant presence of mouse droppings.

At the same time, the cleaning of premises and equipment is considered “very insufficient”, with users using “dirty and soiled” equipment in particular.

“The absence of manual hygiene, including when leaving the toilet, creates a major risk of food poisoning, particularly from fecal bacteria, which is harmful to the health of consumers,” supports the prefecture.

She continues: “the lack of control over temperatures and storage conditions creates a significant risk of collective food poisoning”

A “non-exhaustive” list which therefore led to the closure of the establishment. “The continuation of the operation of the establishment would pose a serious risk to public health,” justifies the prefecture.
