A new meteorological vigilance for Seine-et-Marne. While Météo France had placed the department on yellow alert, yesterday, a new bulletin reported a orange alertthis Wednesday 1er May 2024, from 7 p.m. The rain-storm situation will therefore require particular vigilance in because of its intensity.

A risk of hail and strong gusts in Seine-et-Marne

“After a relatively calm and mild day, organized and sometimes strong thunderstorms, even violent, will return to the region in the evening and first part of the night“, says Météo France, which specifies however that the intensity of the precipitation and gusts, but also the exact location of the strongest accumulations remain difficult to specify. »

However, storms should develop in the north-west of Burgundy and head towards the south-east of Île-de-France, then strengthen and sweep the entire region. According to Météo France, storms could be accompanied by a risk of hail and heavy rain. Gusts at 60 or 70 km/h are expected, but could reach 80 or 90 km/h locally.
