Kahi (Kaffrine), September 29 (APS) – The mayor of Kahi, in the region of Kaffrine (center), El Hadji Aliou Diané, presented, on Saturday, a grant of more than one million five hundred thousand CFA francs to various sports and cultural associations (ASC) of the commune, competing for the popular national championship where ”Navétaane”, noted the APS.
“Today, we gave the twenty-three ASCs, competing in the commune, a subsidy of more than one million five hundred thousand CFA francs,” he notably specified during the award ceremony. this envelope, in the presence of players in the sports movement.
According to El Hadji Aliou Diané, each of the ASCs, spread across thirty-four villages in the commune, also received sets of jerseys, footballs, in addition to a sum of thirty thousand CFA francs.
Clubs affiliated with the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) and the two zones of the commune also received sets of jerseys and competition balls.
The mayor of Kahi took the opportunity to invite young people from different ASCs to “ban violence and become more involved in the development of their locality, by participating in weeding and cleaning schools”.
