Two Albanians aged 23 and 24 have been in police custody since Sunday evening, April 28, at the Bordeaux police station for attempted murder. The first is suspected of having stabbed a 19-year-old young man several times with the complicity of his cousin. The attack took place on rue Durcy in Bègles.

It was around 4:15 p.m. this Sunday April 28 when the two Albanians insulted a group of young people in the street at the foot of an HLM building. The tone rises and the two men come down for a face-to-face which quickly turns into a fight. Punches are exchanged, but very quickly one of the Albanians takes out a knife and strikes five or six blows in the back of the victim who is very seriously injured. The emergency services were alerted and evacuated the latter to the University Hospital in a condition considered very worrying. His vital prognosis was in jeopardy.

Meanwhile, the alleged perpetrator of the attack and his cousin disappear. They will be located and arrested very quickly by the police as they were preparing to take the train at Saint-Jean station, presumably to reach Belgium where their family resides. The investigation was entrusted to the Territorial Crime Division (DCT). Investigations are ongoing.
