In Rochefort-sur-Loire, the Goganes multi-reception facility inaugurated

Monday September 23, 2024, in -sur- (Maine-et-Loire), the elected officials of the territory, Marc Schmitter, president of the Loire-Layon-Aubance community of communes (CCLLA), Emmanuel Le Roy, secretary general of the prefect of Maine-et-Loire, Stella Dupont, deputy of Maine-et-Loire, Marie-Paule Chesneau, departmental councilor, Nathalie Gilles, director of social action of the CAF of Maine-et-Loire, Guy Piétin, vice-president president VYV3 (manager), Didier Le Gall, mayor of Rochefort-sur-Loire, the project partners, the professionals of the structure and the user families inaugurated the building and the extensions of the Goganes multi-reception facility.

This work began in October 2023. The complex is made up of the Goganes children’s center, which houses a 15-place reception establishment for young children (ECJE).

The work was divided into five operations

This structure also hosts the Child Parent Reception Center (LAEP) managed by the association L’enfant dans la cite.

Historically a daycare center, the Goganes ECEC evolved into a multi-reception in 2021, in order to meet the regular reception needs of parents. This change modified the opening time of the structure: change from 3 to 5 reception days, change in the opening hours from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (instead of 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and increase of the number of opening days from 45 to 48 weeks.

The work was divided into five operations: creation of an extension kitchen; transformation of the current kitchen into a fourth dormitory; redevelopment of the activity room and the mezzanine, with kitchenette and break room for professionals; improvement of summer comfort; bringing facilities up to standard.

The multi-reception facility can now accommodate 18 children between 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. In addition, the preparation of meals, currently carried out in cold supply, will eventually be able to move into on-site production with local products from short circuits, in accordance with the Loire-Layon-Aubance territorial food program.

Financing plan: DETR, €82,314 (21.5%); CAF, €162,000 (43.5%) and CCLLA, €128,548 (35%).
