. Agronomist André Roy was elected president of the Montérégie regional administrative section of the Ordre des agronomes du Québec (OAQ) on April 17 for a three-year term.

André Roy has extensive experience in the field of animal production, specifies the OAQ in a press release. He notably worked for Grober Nutrition in Ontario. Since 2015, he has worked at Sollio Agriculture, where he led the commercial development of specialized production, as well as technology transfer in ruminants. He currently holds the position of Expert in specialized production and replacement heifers for Eastern Canada.

Montérégie represents the most numerous section of the Order with a very large territory. Our members have shared with us their interest in professional and social activities that allow them to grow in their knowledge and share it with their colleagues.

Vacancy

The position of president of the Montérégie section of the OAQ was left vacant following the departure of Michel Montpetit, who submitted his candidacy for the position of president of the OAQ, a position which he obtained. It was the agronomist Caroline-Joan Boucher who was elected vice-president of the OAQ.
