We all have our little habits, our little seasonal, ephemeral and recurring pleasures. Over the years, they become appointments, places, moments that we wait for and which give rhythm to time. They only occur under certain conditions, generally atmospheric, you have to catch them when they are there. They are the madeleines, the pepper and the salt of the calendar.
Sardines on the grill, powder on the slope, laughing on the lake, storms by the fire, fondue at the Bains des Pâquis, vacations by the sea, the Escalade race, roasted chestnuts. And, as far as I’m concerned, the angel’s jump to the Under-Earth bridge.
