The youth-employment hubs carrying the Place aux Jeunes projects in the region in the MRCs of D’Autray, Joliette, Matawinie and Montcalm came together to mark the launch of the 2024-2025 Place aux Jeunes activities under the theme “ Lanaudière is just enough! » an initiative aimed at supporting and boosting the engagement of young people in our beautiful region of Lanaudière. This project was made possible thanks to the financial participation of the Government of Quebec.
A program adapted to the needs of young people
The theme “Lanaudière is just enough” reflects our desire to celebrate the assets of our region while responding to the aspirations of young people. Our wish is to create a feeling of satisfaction because everything one can look for can be found in Lanaudière. Just enough calm, just enough excitement. Just enough rivers, and also forests. Just enough nature, but also cities. Just enough wild evenings and quiet mornings. Lanaudière is a whole that cannot be broken down.
Varied activities for everyone
On the program for this new season, exploratory stays, networking events and inspiring conferences will be offered. We are committed to creating spaces where young people can exchange, learn and flourish while discovering the riches of Lanaudière. We want to highlight the resources and opportunities that exist locally.
Partnerships and collaborations
We are proud to collaborate with several local partners, including businesses, schools and community organizations, to strengthen our impact and offer diverse opportunities. Together, we are building a promising future for our young people.

Eligibility Criteria
Remember that Place aux jeunesse participants, aged between 18 and 35, must plan to settle in the targeted MRCs or have resided there for less than a year, and be graduated or in the process of completing their post-secondary studies.
Place aux Jeunes en Région has been the Quebec benchmark for youth migration since 1990 and is present in 15 administrative regions. The activities of Place aux Jeunes are made possible thanks to the financial participation of Place aux Jeunes in the region, the Secrétariat à la jeunesse, the government of Quebec and numerous public and private authorities in the area.
