The Estoublon Garden: heading for Provence in Saint-Germain-des-Prés

In this completely transformed former Léon de Bruxelles, the Jardin d’Estoublon transports its visitors into an atmosphere that is both warm and luxuriant, reminiscent of the sunny terraces of the south of . The decoration, incorporating opulent vegetation, evokes the enchanted gardens which border the Provençal residences, complemented by a soft musical atmosphere which accentuates this timeless escapade. The menu, a true ode to Provence, offers generous modernity to classic dishes from the region. Guests begin their gastronomic experience with a selection of three monovarietal olive oils, each telling a unique story from Domaine Estoublon located not far from Les Baux-de-Provence. This is followed by specialties such as crispy panisses, pissaladière, or even a sea bass carpaccio garnished with Roseblood jelly, the house’s iconic rosé wine. The wine list does not disappoint with its precisely selected choices to complement each dish. The Roseblood rosé 2023, star of the estate, shines with its freshness and elegant floral notes, while the new 1489 vintages promise a rich and mineral exploration, perfect for lovers of gastronomic wines. For fans of non-alcoholic drinks, L’Excessive, the alcohol-free sparkling wine from Estoublon, promises to refresh the palate with a refined sparkling touch. As for cocktails, the menu offers La Vie en Roseblood and other original creations that use the estate’s products for innovative mixes. Only downside: the service which shows condescension and amateurism. Halfway between the brasserie and the bistro in the south of France, the Jardin d’Estoublon remains a friendly address which will remain open until September 30.
