These conclusions are described in the report for the year 2023 published by the National Interministerial Road Safety Observatory. In France, it is illegal to drive with a blood alcohol level greater than or equal to 0.5 grams per liter of blood or 0.25 milligrams per liter of exhaled air.
However, some drivers choose to get behind the wheel despite their consumption. An attitude which has consequences: in Seine-et-Marne, between 2019 and 2023, there were between 20% and 40% of people killed in an accident which involved an alcoholic driver. The best solution is to have a Sam to come home, that is to say a sober driver.
